ABOUT ME

I am a UX-UI/ Product designer and researcher. I studied computer engineering and get on well with technologists in finding design solutions to technical problems. In my previous life, I used to be an advertising creative director – I used to be the Head of Digital on the Etihad Airways account and Digital Creative Director on the Emirates Airlines account. I therefore understand marketing and brand, and their relationship with product. I still occasionally work on brand strategy for my clients.

In my 24+ years’ experience. I have worked with a diverse set of clients in industries including financial services/ fintech/ banking, public sector, e-commerce, aviation and hospitality.

I have applied creativity in a broader sense as compared to designers who have only practised theirs' in one specialised space.  

I have an engineering background and a suitable understanding of technology. I have closely worked with developers and solutions architects in cracking design solutions to technical challenges. I have also overseen design implementation to ensure a high standard of design fidelity across areas like accessibility of the design and it's responsiveness including cross browser and cross device compatibility.

I am an end-to-end UX designer and can take your project from a "one line" brief, gather requirement, iteratively design the product - develop the product with the technical team and help you go live with it. I have in-depth research, and lab as well as field testing experience that you'll rarely find on a "designer" CV.
